Edward Hasbrouck (b. 1960, Cambridge, Massachusetts); attended the University of Chicago; refused to register with the U.S. Selective Service in 1980 when the military draft was reinstated. As a consequence, he was sentenced to a six month prison term, which he served at the federal prison camp in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Nov. 1983 through April 1984. Hasbrouck worked with the National Resistance Committee and affiliated local organizations
