Thomas Barker (1693-1774), son of Robert Barker, rector of Cherry Burton, matriculated at Jesus College, Cambridge, in 1729 (B.A., 1733; M.A., 1740). He was ordained in 1735, and became rector of Leven, Yorkshire, in 1737, and rector of Cherry Burton, 1740-1774. He died in August 1774.
