Central Michigan University. History Dept.
The Rolland H. Maybee Award was given by the Central Michigan University (CMU) History Dept., in conjuction with the Clarke Historical Library, for the best Mich. history paper beginning in 1971. The award program was shortlived. Maybee (1907-1976) was a Mich. history professor at CMU, 1922-1942, and Chair of the Dept. of Social Studies, 1947-1960. For further information about him, see his books and papers at the Clarke. Geelhoed later authored two books, copies of which are in the Clarke. No further information is available on the other students.
