Adams, Moses, 1803-
Moses Adams, the original owner of the Moses Adam manuscript (a homespun clothbound, handwritten book of ballads) was born in 1903 in Dehart, North Carolina. The manuscript was passed down in the family until 1932 when folk song collector W. Amos Abrams purchased it from Luther Adams.
