Joseph Bancroft & Sons Company.
The Joseph Bancroft & Sons Company operated cotton textile mills in Wilmington, Del. It was incorporated in 1889 as the successor to a business established by Joseph Bancroft (1803-1874) in 1831. It became a division of Indian Head Mills, Inc., in 1961 and closed in 1981.
