KIDO (Radio station : Boise, Idaho)

KFAU, KIDO's predecessor station, was founded in 1922. Initially licensed to Boise High School, it was taken over in the late 1920's by C.G. Phillips and his wife, Georgia. KIDO was the first Idaho station to become affiliated with a major network (NBC) in 1934.
