Davenport, Robert D. 1809-1848.
Robert D. Davenport was a missionary to Siam, now Thailand from First Baptist Church, Richmond, Virginia. On September 22, 1835, he sailed on the Louvre with about twenty other missionaries including Samuel Stearns Day, Adoniram Judson, Jeremiah B. Jeter, and J. Lewis Shuck to India where he served the Telugu people before moving to Thailand.
