Muralist, illustrator, educator; Cleveland, Ohio.
Riba studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Cleveland Institute of Art. After a career as a mural painter and an illustrator in advertisting, he joined the faculty of The Cleveland Institute of Art, where he taught for fourteen years. Riba's style is often identified as Magic Realism.
