Freiman, David G.
David G. Freiman (d. 2003) was Pathologist-in-Chief at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Mass. from 1956 to 1979, and was also the Mallinckrodt Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School. He was an active member of the Harvard Medical School Curriculum Committee during the 1960s and 1970s, and assisted in redesigning the program to give students multiple elective courses to explore individual interests. His research focused on various aspects of heart, blood vessel, and lung pathology, and scarcoidosis.
