Order of the Alamo (San Antonio, Tex.)

The Order the Alamo was organized to formalize the selection of royalty for San Antonio's annual spring carnival, its membership consisting of socially prominent local men.

The Order of the Alamo's coronation pageant has been part of every Fiesta San Antonio since the inception of the organization in 1909, other than the years during the two world wars.
