Primitive Baptist Church of Jesus Christ called Apple Creek.
Church founded at the head of Apple Creek, near what is now Waverly, Ill. with Rev. William Rogers and Reverend Isaac Conlee as the first ministers. Originally called the United Baptist Church of Christ. Isaac Conlee was the longest living of the original members dying in 1879 and his family remained active in the church for over a century.
