Cambridge University Scout and Guide Club
The Club was formed in 1953, following the amalgamation of the Girton College Guides and Cambridge University Rover Scouts Crew (formed 1920/1). The inaugural meeting was held on 6 March 1953. The Rover Crew continued alongside the main club for about 10 years. The Club's name went through several changes before it finally became the Cambridge University Scout and Guide Club.
