Shapiro family.
In 1937, Hyman Shapiro, with his sons, Samuel, Howard and Jason, started the record retail business that was to become National Record Mart. The family sold the business in 1986. Louise Silk, daughter of Howard and Sadye Shapiro, is an artist whose medium is quilt making.
