Robert W. Bullock was born in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1929. He attended St. Sebastian's Country Day School and in 1951 earned a degree in economics from Boston College. He entered St. John's Seminary and was ordained in 1956. In 1964 he joined the Boston Archdiocese's campus ministry and was appointed its first director of campus ministry in 1966. Bullock served as a Catholic chaplain at Brandeis University from 1969-1978. In 1978, after working in campus ministry, Bullock was assigned to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Sharon, Massachusetts where he served until his death in 2004.
