Dwyer, Donald M. 1921-

Donald "Mike" Dwyer was born on June 3, 1921 and joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo., and was assigned to Company F of the 87th Infanty Regiment. He was also stationed at Camp Swift, Tex. before being sent to Italy. Dwyer was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his actions at Gualandi on March 4, 1945. He was later wounded in action and received a second Bronze Star Medal at Mt. Serra on April 17, 1945. Dwyer attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
