Fenske, Merrell R. (Merrell Robert), 1904-
Variant namesMerrell Fenske joined the Pennsylvania State College faculty in 1929 as an assistant professor of chemical engineering, became a full professor in 1936, and was named head of the Department of Chemical Engineering in 1959. He established what became the Petroleum Refining Laboratory in 1931, and directed it until his retirement in 1970 with emeritus status.
