Keller, Rudolf, 1875-
Variant namesRudolph Kohn Keller was born in 1875 in Schlackenwerth near Karlsbad in Bohemia/Austria. Trained as a biochemist, he married into the family who published the Prager Tageblatt and other newspapers. In 1939 he emigrated to Great Britain and later to the United States where he returned his focus to biochemistry. His research focused on proving that body is held together by physical, rather than chemical, processes. fter suffering several strokes, he was interned in the Manhattan State Hospital - Department of Mental Hygiene (Wards Island, New York, NY). He died in 1964 in New York City.
