The Glasgow & Coatbridge Railway Co between Glasgow, Scotland, and Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, was proposed sometime around 1868. Mitchells, Johnston & Co of Glasgow acted as solicitors for the railway. The railway appears to have been surveyed and valuations and estimates of the work to be under taken and land to be purchased made. However, the railway never received an Act of Parliament and by 1867 the idea had been abandoned.
