Harold E. Roesler was a yeoman second class in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He received basic training at the U.S. Naval Training Station, Newport, RI. He was assigned to the Ship's Bureau, Washington, D.C. and to subchaser PG 1252, patrolling the Caribbean Sea and at D-Day, 1944.
