Central Michigan University (CMU) Women is the successor organization to CMU Faculty Dames. The organization provides several social activies during the year as well as small group activities to allow members to become better acquainted. The name of the organization changed in Sept. 1998, to accommodate wives of CMU administrators and faculty, as well as women who are themselves CMU administrators and faculty. The records of the CMU Faculty Dames are also housed in the Clarke Historical Library. A subgroup of the organization hikes regularly. (Information from the collection.).
