Robert Adam Philips Haldane-Duncan
Robert Adam Philips Haldane-Duncan, third Earl of Camperdown, was born in London in 1841. He was educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford, graduating with a degree in Classics in 1861. Between 1868 and 1870, he served as Lord-in-Waiting, and from 1870-1874, as Lord of the Admiralty. He also served as deputy lieutenant and Justice of the Peace. He died in 1918.
