Variant namesFrank Holder is an African American artist, sculptor, and choreographer. He was the founder of the Greensboro, N.C. based Frank Holder Dance Company, serving from 1973 to 1985 as the artistic director and choreographer.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from Stephens College (Columbia, Mo.), and a Master of Fine Arts in dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
He is currently living in Greensboro, N.C., where he has a sculpture studio.
