Action for Children's Television
Variant namesA national grassroots organization advocating quality and diversity in television for children and adolescents, Action for Children's Television (ACT) was founded by Peggy Charren in 1968 in Newton, MA, and later based in Cambridge, MA. The organization was formally disbanded in 1992.
