Maltby, Jonathan, 1759-1850

Jonathan Maltby graduated from Yale College in 1779. He continued his studies in theology and was licensed to preach by the New Haven Association in 1783. He served as pastor of the Congregational Church, College Street, New Haven, but left the ministry for health reasons. He worked in business, teaching, and farming in Connecticut and New York before retiring in Fair Haven, Connecticut.
