Carter, Edgar N.
Edgar N. Carter (1910-1957) wrote a biography with the help of his brother Charles Carter about their father, William Alexander Carter, "A Virginian Comes West." William Carter was a native of Missouri who traveled to California in 1850. Seven years later he traveled in the Utah Expedition, finally settling in Wyoming, including Fort Bridger.
