McGuire & Shook, Architects
William C. McGuire (1888-1960) and Wilbur Briant Shook (1889-1961) began the architectural firm that bears their names in Indianapolis (ca. 1916). They did business as McGuire & Shook, architects, until 1958, when the name was changed to McGuire & Shook, Compton, Richey and Associates. In 1964, the office was incorporated as McGuire & Shook, Compton and Richey, Inc. It became the McGuire and Shook Corporation in 1970, and the Odle McGuire & Shook Corporation ca. 1990.
