Jelliman, Victor T.

Victor Jelliman was born ca. 1890 in South Africa and served in German East Africa in World War I. In 1927 he emigrated to Australia to take up specialist sheep and wool duties. He enlisted in World War II and was taken prisoner by the Japanese in Singapore and was put to work on the Thailand Burma Railway. He was stud master at 'Merrivale' near Yass and died in 1981 in a retirement village at Cootamundra. He never married.
