Yetka, John, 1918-

Yetka (b.1918), born in Cloquet (Minnesota) and raised in Milwaukee, joined the Navy in 1939 and served as an engineer with the Louisville during the Battle of Guadalcanal and Aleutian Islands. He was transferred to the Cape Esperance and made chief engineer before being discharged in 1945. Yetka worked in Arizona with Goodyear Aircraft before returning to Wisconsin and General Motors.
