Jervey, Thomas Hall, 1778-1846.
Charleston, S.C. seaman. During the War of 1812 he was captain of a Charleston privateer and for 32 years served as the Custom House surveyor for the Port of Charleston. Jervey was president of the Charleston Marine Society and an officer of the Charleston Port Society.
