Holyoke, John, 1734-1753
John Holyoke was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts on February 18, 1733/4. He moved to Cambridge at the age of three when his father, Edward Holyoke became Harvard's president. He graduated from Harvard in 1751, and began studying law. He died on December 30, 1753 of illness.
