Gertrude Madeleine Shaw (1892-1991) graduated from Radcliffe College (A.B. 1915) and Simmons College (B.S. 1917). She worked for 39 years at Harvard University's Widener Library before retiring in 1957 as chief bibliographer. Shaw served as secretary of the Radcliffe Class of 1915, as director of the Radcliffe College Alumnae Association (1955-1958), and was a member of the Cambridge (Mass.) Musical Club.
