Mark Collins (d. December 12, 1860), a member of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends, copied the group's disciplinary rules in 1834, in an effort to expand their availability beyond the clergy and administrative assistants. His wife Edith later collected poetry and religious extracts.
