Wood, Charles L.
Texas Tech University Agricultural history professor, public school administrator and educator. Born 1937 March 15 in Hemingford, Nebraska. Received B.A. degree from Benedictine College (1959), and M.A. and Ph. D. degrees from the University of Kansas (1969,1974). Joined Texas Tech University History Department in 1976. Authored THE KANSAS BEEF INDUSTRY (1980). Did extensive research on a biography of Murdo Mackenzie. Died in 1981.
