Hooton, Mott, 1838-1920

Mott Hooton (1838-1920) entered the military in 1861, as a sergeant of Company A, 1st Regiment Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry, retiring in 1902 with the rank of Brigadier General. He served in the Civil War, throughout the West in the Indian Territories, and in Cuba during the Spanish American War.
