Dwyer, J. W.

J.W. Dwyer was a rancher, businessman, and prison official who came to New Mexico Territory from Ohio in the late 1860s and in Raton, New Mexico, engaged in a real estate and livestock business. During the early 1890s he also served as president of the board of penitentiary commissioners for the territory of New Mexico.
