Wilkinson, Horace, 1941-
Horace Wilkinson IV comes from a long line of Louisiana plantation owners. He attended Port Allen Elementary School, graduated from University High School in Baton Rouge, and attended the University of the South for a year before transferring to Louisiana State University. His father, Horace Wilkinson III, died suddenly in 1961 and his mother, Elizabeth Ann Scales Wilkinson, later remarried. Wilkinson was student body president of LSU from April to November 1962, and president of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. After graduating from LSU, he worked at Louisiana National Bank for nine years. He was married but later separated from his wife. He has a son, Horace Wilkinson V, and a daughter, Virginia Carter Wilkinson.
