Baldwin, John Stanton, 1834-1909.
John Stanton Baldwin (1834-1909), the son of John Denison Baldwin (1809-1833) and Lemira (Hathaway) Baldwin (1813-1904), was born on 6 January 1834, in New Haven, Conn. During the Civil War he was captain of Co. F of the 51st Massachusett Regiment. He worked, along side his father, as editor and publisher of the "Spy," in Worcester, Mass., from 1859-1898. He died 11 October 1909.
