Theodore Washington Brevard (died 1877) was a lawyer, judge, state legislator and public official of North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. Among many professional positions held by Brevard, he was Alabama state legislator, Macon County, Ala.; judge; register of the land office at Tallahassee, Fla.; and Comptroller of Public Accounts for the state of Florida.
Brevard was the son of Alexander Brevard of Mt. Tizra Forge, Lincoln County, N.C. He was married to Caroline E. Mays and they had four sons, Theodore Washington, Junior; Ephraim A. (died 1871), a physician; Mays (died 1864); and Robert.
