Julian Calvert Eisenstein earned his Harvard SB 1941, Harvard AM 1942, and Harvard Ph.D. 1948. He lived in Lowell House as an undergraduate. As a graduate student, he served on the Board of Freshman Advisers and was a Special Research Associate for the Project for Research on Sound Control (ROSC). He was awarded the Sheldon Travelling Fellowship in 1941 and a Parker Fellowship in Physics in 1942. He became a physicist and professor of physics.
