Stevens, David B. (David Boyette), 1923-

David Boyette Stevens (1923- ), native of Augusta, Ga., was a commercial pilot and university attorney at East Carolina University. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, he married Willa King Horner in 1942. Stevens served as lieutenant in the United States Army Air Force Transport Command, and later as colonel. After his retirement from the military in 1970, Stevens joined East Carolina University as assistant professor of business law. Before retiring from ECU, Stevens served as associate professor of criminal law and social welfare legislation, attorney advisor and director of equal opportunity programs, and university attorney.
