University organization. The Iowa State Veterinary Circle was organized in 1926. The membership was restricted to women of the Veterinary staff, all wives of local veterinarians, and local government extension veterinarians. The object of the association was to promote sociability and fellowship among members, to promote friendliness with student wives and mothers, and to encourage professional interest.

The group was active in social events and also was involved in providing student loans and donations to the Veterinary College. The group disbanded in 1985.
