Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Everett, Wash.)
This congregation was started as a mission of the North Pacific District of the ELC with the Rev. Brendt Dahl as the organizer and first pastor. The first unit of the physical plant was begun at once and on August 3, 1958, the building was dedicated. In October of 1958, Prince of Peace became a congregation of the ALC. In 1968 two Sunday School buildings, Foss Hall and Luther Hall, were dedicated. These house pre-school and kindergarten which have ten full-time teachers and 236 pupils. In May of 1979, Prince of Peace sponsored a new Lutheran congregation in Startup, Washington, and Rev. Tood B. Wagner was installed as assistant pastor of Prince of Peace and pastor of the Startup church. He served in a team ministry with Rev. Daugs until 1983.
