West Parish Church (Wrentham, Mass.)
Variant namesChurch gathered in 1738 as West Parish Church (also known as Second Church); in 1778 reorganized as First Congregational Church of Franklin with the reorganization and incorporation of that town; in 1938 a storm destroyed the building of the First Baptist Church (organized in 1868) and the Baptists were invited to worship with the First Congregational Church; the two churches were federated in 1941 becoming the Franklin Federated Church.
