Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, La.). Student Government
The Louisiana State University Student Government was formed in 1926 from two rival groups that were vying for control of student affairs. It is composed of three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. Additionally, college councils exist to represent the interests of students to deans and department chairs of academic units.
