Robertson, A. H. (Ashley Herman), 1867-1930
Variant namesAshley Herman Robertson was born December 14, 1867, in Ashmore, Illinois. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1890, and later achieved the rank of rear admiral in September 1918. He was appointed Chief of Staff of the Naval War College in 1919, and then served as Commandant of the 11th Naval District from 1923 to 1926. Robertson died on July 13, 1930.
