Asa P. Morse and Company.
Asa Porter Morse was a Boston merchant who dealt in shooks for packing and cooperage. Born in Haverhill, N.H., Morse came to Boston in 1840. He was a representative in the Massachusetts General Court in 1869 and 1873 and a state senator, 1879-1880.
