Lindy family.

Mr. and Mrs. William Wright Lindy of Gibson County, Indiana had three sons who served in the United States military during World War II. Their sons were Ivle, Calvin A., and Adrian "Buzz" Lindy. All three survived the war. Robert E. Stults was in the Navy and corresponded while in a Naval hospital. The Knapp family of Evansville, Indiana, received letters from Syl G. Gries who served in the war. Francis E. Germann was from Illinois. He was a staff sergeant in the 314th Infantry 79th Division. On December 1, 1944 he died and was buried in Epinal, France. In 1960 Mary L. Reinhart, of Princeton, Indiana had a connection to the Lindy family and there is a letter to her about a will.
