Palmer, Wesley E., 1917-1974.
Master Sergeant (MSG) Wesley E. Palmer served in the 7th Field Artillery Battalion, 1st Infantry Division in World War II. He participated in four beachhead assaults and saw combat in Africa, Sicily, France, Belgium, and Germany. He also served in the Korean War, retiring in 1958. Throughout his career, he was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, 8 Battle Stars, and a Purple Heart in both World War II and the Korean War.
