John Huntley (b.c. 1623 - 1676), possibly originally from Scotland, was found in Boston as early as 1647 when he was engaged in shipping goods to Barbados. His first wife died of small pox in Boston. He lived in Salem, Massachusetts with his second wife Jane. John's third wife was Mary Barnes (daughter of William and Sarah Weltshire Barnes). His children to Jane included: Moses Huntley (b. 1652), Aaron Huntley (b. 1654), Elizabeth Huntley (b. 1657), and Mary Huntley (b.1660). John moved to Lyme, CT about 1661, where he died. His children to his third wife, Mary included: Sarah Huntley (b.c. 1670) and Alice Huntley (b.c. 1673). This document details John's descendants, most of whom resided in CT as well as other New England states.
