Caswell, Charles Henry, 1859-1916.

An engineer in the N.S.W. Public Works Department, with extensive experience in sewerage, Caswell was responsible for the engineering features of the design submitted to the Commonwealth of Australia Design for the Layout of the Federal City by Walter Scott Griffith's, Robert Coulter and Caswell in 1911. Their design was awarded fourth place in the competition, although a minority report recommended it for first prize.
